Every mind is a gift and deserves to be celebrated.
I’m Jordan Phillips, the founder of Rashad’s Gift Inc., and the proud cousin of Rashad Smith — the incredible young man who inspired every part of this mission.
Rashad is non-verbal and autistic, and from the start, he’s shown me the true meaning of joy, creativity, and resilience. Growing up alongside him, I witnessed both the beauty of who he is and the very real challenges our family faced navigating a world that often lacks the tools, understanding, and compassion families like ours need.
From limited support systems to the shortage of inclusive spaces, it became clear just how much work is still needed to make our communities more welcoming to everyone.
That’s why I created Rashad’s Gift Inc.

Through Rashad, we've learned patience, creativity, and what it truly means to love without conditions. His life has shown us how powerful it is when communities embrace differences, rather than hide from them.
Rashad’s Gift Inc. exists to raise awareness, provide meaningful resources, and build spaces where inclusion isn’t just a goal — it’s the standard. From our signature event, Paving the Path: Walk & Touch-A-Truck, we want to bring families, educators, and neighbors together to build a more compassionate and understanding to the world.
This work is deeply personal — and it’s just getting started.

Recognizing both the challenges and strengths of living with autism, the organization has grown into a mission-driven initiative dedicated to supporting families and promoting the celebration of all abilities.
